I spent a brilliant day with West London Boxing shooting coach Daniyal Khan for a National Lottery feature. My brief was to deliver both stills and a short video to accompany the piece. A job that let me blend documentary instincts with studio-style control.

The shoot was super fun! Gritty gym atmosphere, great energy from Daniyal and the boxers, and a satisfying challenge of capturing both decisive action and intimate portraiture. It felt like a proper mix of documentary and creative problem-solving, and I came away with some images and a short film that really reflect who Daniel is as a coach.
