I recently completed a promotional video shoot with Stoked Surf School that was both challenging and immensely rewarding.

The shoot needed a bunch of different methods including Pete (Maverick) Mitchell quality drone shots, capturing the incredible Perranporth coastline, (at times dangerous) in-water filming of intermediate surfers along a wave and narrowly missing me, and shooting bread-and-butter on-land footage of the surf lessons in action; alongside detailed location shots that highlighted the surf school.

A key part of the project was an interview with the owner, Julian, where we decided to selected the perfect spot  on the edge of the Droskyn headland to showcase the Perranporth backdrop all while managing wireless microphones to ensure clear audio.

The shoot was class and pushed my creative limits, I’m incredibly proud of how the final video turned out.
