Documentary Wedding Photography

Weddings are all about real moments, and that’s what I focus on.

My name is Ruaridh and I’m a UK Wedding Photographer based in Cornwall. I’m big on documentary-style photography, capturing the stuff that actually matters, like the sneaky glances, the laughs, as well as the moments you didn’t know happened. I’m not about stiff poses or forcing things; I just let the day unfold naturally and get those raw, real shots.

I want your photos to feel like you, authentic and full of the vibes of the day. Whether it’s a hug, a dance-off, or just some quiet moments in between, I’ll be there to catch it all like some sneaky ninja in the shadows.

FAQ’s

Do you only do one package?

Of course not! The package displayed is my top package and the one most couples select however, If you’re looking to elope or have a smaller wedding; I’m more than happy to jump on a call with you and discuss what I can offer within your price range.

How long until we see the photos?

Wedding photography is a huge part of my business, and I take great care in making sure all your photos are edited, double-checked, and curated. You can expect your full set of images to be ready between 6-8 weeks during peak season, and a quicker turnaround in the less-busy months.

Do you take formal pics?

Despite my documentary style, I do understand family is super important on your wedding day, and we will make sure to keep mum and dad happy! Just send me a list of the family members and the groups so you and your guests can go back to the canapés and drinks!

Do you travel?

Yes, I capture weddings all over the UK, and have even captured two engagements in Sri Lanka, so don’t hesitate to tell me about your plans. For weddings in Europe, I like to discuss with my couples the best price to cover travel and accommodation costs.

Does the online gallery expire?

Your wedding photos will be up for you to enjoy with an expiry date two years after the wedding date. You may share the link to all your favourite people with free, unlimited downloads.

How do we book?

After an initial chat with you both, I will send out a contract for you to review. Once the 50% deposit is settled and the contract is signed I am locked in for your special day. The remaining balance is due 1 month before the wedding date.
